Be Proud Of Yourself For Surviving 2020 So Far

By

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. This year is a rough year for everyone. We face the same storm in a different way. Some lost a lot, some gained much. In the midst of the chaos, we search for a light to hold on. We are not ready to sink, we are screaming for help to get out of this uncomfortable situation and obtain our normal life which is filled with stability and freedom.

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. It is the quarantine season for all of us. Some are able to rest, some are stressed by the fact that their businesses are falling apart, they lost someone they love, they cannot go out like they used to. Our mental health is on the line. We are tired by the same situation that is out of our control. We try our best to overcome, but our soul is craving for more.

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. This year is a year of adjustment. We’ve learned to adjust more than we ever did before. We’ve learned to eat healthier, do some home exercise, take online courses, do everything we can to keep us sane. There are days we think we succeed, but there are nights we lose sleep and let our demons show around. We become lonelier, longing for human connection we used to have.

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. It is easy to let our mind think about how sorrowful this year is. In fact, it is. But we can learn to choose to see good in every little thing. It is a sorrowful year if we set our mind just to see the worst in this season. For every storm, there is a calm sea after. We just need to hold on harder and keep sailing. A storm may wobble a boat, but it takes a while to flip a boat that has a strong control toward their direction. Do not lose ourselves while sailing through the storm.

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. It may be a hard year for everyone, but that does not change the fact that we are still here, surviving this far, to get through this together. It is an unusual year for everybody – that is why it’s mattered. We’ve learned to cherish moments more, to appreciate the people around us, to embrace every new day as an opportunity to rise. We’ve learned not to take life for granted, to show gratitude for everything that happened. We’ve let the situation shape us into a greater form, to be prepared for the next battle in life.

We’ve almost reached the end of 2020. Take your time to reflect what this year has offered to you, and be thankful for it. I am proud you are surviving this far.
