    Columbia House? My goodness.

Drinking before you get on the plane is the best thing ever. Especially if you’re stuck in Charleston on a six hour layover and every bar in the airport is practically giving away Knob’s Creek. Why were there so many bars?!

    • LazyReader

Did you know the Quiznos in Denver has a bar in it?
Quiznos?!Found that out during a NYC to Vegas layover where my connecting plane “broke”, forcing us into a strange holding pattern where we had to be ready to get on the new plane at a moment’s notice. So we’d order a drink, pay for it and slam it, and then wait the “appropriate” amount of time before ordering another round (appropriate = Natural Consumption Time). We got to Vegas pretty drunk. My friend and I now say “Let’s drink like it’s Denver!”

      • Age

Hahaha! Quiznos? That’s a new one. Sometimes I’d like to think I’d buy a super cheap round trip ticket to Charleston and just hangout in the airport. Getting drunk waiting for a flight is a very underrated experience. It’s not like frequenting your favorite dive. It’s like a very short vacation and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
