World’s First Burrito Vending Machine Finally Arrives

If you have a crazy startup idea, good for you. But whatever it is, it’s probably not as good as The Burrito Box —  an automated vending machine that sells burritos for $3.75 including tax. The first one opened at USC on Wednesday morning, a momentous human accomplishment which you could vicariously experience here.

According to the Huffington Post article above, the first student to get a burrito deemed his chicken chipotle creation “mildly average.” Clearly, this kid was sober. I mean you’ve gotta expect an average product from a vending machine, but this is certainly a delicacy best enjoyed after 10+ Coors Lights.

Other important details: According to my relatively solid internet research, the burrito box offers 6 different types of burritos. Also, the machine plays a music video for the minute and a half it takes to make your burrito.

Sorry for making you hungry. Hopefully this’ll be coming to a college near you. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
