Spoiler alert, he got the job.
Back when he had a haircut that would probably kill it on a ranch in the 1970’s, Aaron Paul auditioned for the role of the drugged out Jesse Pinkman, initially conceived as merely an accessory to Walter White’s master meth plan.
But as this audition shows full well, Paul’s acting was way too captivating to only serve as a plot device. Not going to give anything away (Spoiling Stevens are amongst society’s greater evils), but Paul has only gotten better and better as the series has gone on. He’s truly earned that full-fledged celeb status.
Here, Paul reads one of the more memorable scenes from the series’ pilot episode, in which Walt convinces Jesse to become his PiC. He flubs a line, but more than makes up for that with his impressive range and considerable humor. Indeed, bitch.
