I hope you take chances- little ones, big ones, everything in between.

I am good at real. And this might scare you, too- but you just might need someone like me to push you where you want to go.

You don’t deserve to only feel loved and respected on a handful of days, only to have to build yourself back up after he’s torn you down on all the others.

All I know is that this time, I have to do what’s best for me. I have to take this route in my life and see where it leads

Thank you for giving us advice and telling us what I deserve when we can’t seem to figure that out ourselves.

I can convince myself that it’s enough. But tomorrow, it won’t be.

And though it would be easy to find someone who is safe and comfortable, it would be easy to date someone who doesn’t scare you, a part of you knows, in the back of your mind, it would eat away at you.

I picture that sometimes we may wonder if we did the right thing by giving us a shot. We might second guess and think, “What if we had just let this go?”
