My beloved, I know what’s in your heart. I know your dreams, hopes, and struggles. I can number the strands of your hair and the fibers of your flesh. I created you and have given your name.
Your name is Chosen. Your name is Grace. Your name is Mine.
I carefully weaved you in your mother’s womb. I sang your first heartbeat, filled with love and purpose. But there are times you forget that I hold your yesterdays, tomorrows and everything that you’re going through. I want you to remember, my child, that you are part of my plan. You are meant every breath I have given. Trust me.
“For I know the plans I have for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11
I hear your cries and silent despair. I know your frustrations. I stay awake with you, holding you in my arms during nights of restlessness. Hush now, I know you’re tired. Give me your burdens and let me carry you. Lay down your heartaches, cry on my lap. I will always be your Comforter. Take refuge in my power, my child. I’m preparing wonderful joy for you.
In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials. (1 Peter 1:6)
I see your weaknesses. I understand your anger and confusion. I know how you crumble on your bed, weighed down by the guilt of sinfulness. Look at me. Listen to me. You are forgiven. I lifted up your shame. Believe me, I love you. I love you while you are a sinner and that’s why I sent my Son for you. To save you – to release you. Release yourself too. You are no longer a slave. I redeemed you with my blood.
I have given you the power to say no to evil, no matter how strong the temptation seems. Say yes to me. My love has always been greater than your sins, doubts, and fears. You are cleansed now. This is where you stand; you are strong and pure. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid for I am with you.
Come to me. Stay with me. I will rescue you.
I will be found by you and I’ll restore your security. (Jeremiah 29:14)
You have my heart completely, forever. I hope I have yours. I have moved heaven and earth to take you back to my eternal love. Why won’t you choose me?
I own the skies and seas, the seen and unseen, yet I long for your heart. I long to listen to your stories. Talk to me and include me in your days, my love. You don’t have to do it alone. I clothed you with strength, but you need me. Seek me during times of joy and when you feel insecure. I will meet you where you are.
I long to have a relationship with you, that endlessly grows from glory to glory. I love you through brokenness and pains. My love for you is infinite. Will you accept it? I am waiting for you.
I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you (Jeremiah 31:3)
