Alexa, Play ‘I’m Having A Quarter-Life Crisis’

By

Hey Alexa, can you get my life together?

You always hear about a midlife crisis, but what about a quarter-life crisis? So many of us are going through these today, and it’s not so talked about. But being in your twenties is scary.

We’re such messes. We’re trying to figure out who we are. What we want out of life. How to navigate where we’re going.

Hey Alexa, play “I’m Having A Quarter-Life Crisis.”

Because I’m an adult, but I still don’t know what I want out of life. I still don’t know where I want to go. I still haven’t fully navigated everything. I’m still struggling.

So for those days you’re struggling, drowning in hopelessness, or surrounded by sadness, just remember who you are.

Play that sad song and cry those tears, then snap out of it and remember who you are.

Because through a quarter of our life, we won’t have it all figured out. We have time to do that. Life is about the journey, and there is a beauty in that too.

Our mid-twenties are a time of exploration. A time of learning. A time where we should and need to navigate through life and the journey. We grow by continually discovering who we are. We are constantly evolving and growing. Don’t let your age hinder you from life.

Think of a quarter-life crisis as one of the most important parts of your life. You have so much ahead of you and you don’t even know it yet. We have grown into the people we are, but there is still plenty to go.

There are more people to meet. Places to see. Things we haven’t even thought about or imagined yet.

Hey Alexa, play my favorite song.

Help me remember that life is good. There is so much left to see. Despite any scary feelings and uncertainty, I know I will be okay.
