Here’s What’s Been Going On In Venezuela

While Ukraine has been in the news of late and rightly so, Venezuela also needs your attention. A Venezuelan living in the United Stated made the video below and asks us to share it if we are human. The video shows the following: Protests, severe government abuses, police brutality, violence, and deaths of young people fighting for their rights.

So I’m sharing it because I don’t believe that any political document or laws or government enshrines the most basic rights of people; certain rights are far too intrinsic to human existence to rely on institutions or pieces of paper to guarantee them. And I believe in supporting anyone and everyone, even in the smallest way, who is fighting for such rights.
