Watch Josh Brolin And Jake Gyllenhaal In The Insane Trailer For “Everest” Based On The 1996 Tragedy

Based on Jon Krauker’s account of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster, “Into Thin Air,” Icelandic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur’s Everest follows the attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, inspired by the two different expeditions on Mount Everest during one of the worst snowstorms ever encountered.

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Broklin, Robin Wright, Keira Knightley, and Sam Worthington, Kormákur took the cast to film on location in the Dolomites, in order to make the film look and feel as real as possible.
