I really love coffee shops. One of my favorite pastimes in life is drinking coffee while mindlessly people watching and pretending to work on something super serious on my laptop. The only thing that could make this better is if I were doing these things while also being surrounded by cats – floppy cats, baby cats, fluffy cats, purring cats – cats simply make life better. If you’re one of those people who are “allergic” to cats or “more of a dog person” please sit down over there.
San Francisco has finally answered everyone’s cat loving dreams and is opening a tea + cat café this spring called KitTea featuring an array of super cute feline friends for customers to hang out with.
Founders and cat enthusiasts Courtney Hatt and David Braginsky define the endeavor as “part ‘gourmet tea house’ and part ‘cat and human oasis.’ ” A cat and human oasis? Brb, moving to San Fran.The goal is to offer a loving, warm place for homeless cats to enjoy and call a place of their own.
Let’s take a moment to have a collective “awwwwwww” and watch this very fancy cat drink tea.
