Stop Apologizing For Being Who You Are

Stop Apologizing For Being Who You Are

“Stop apologizing for being who you are.”

“But who is that? Some days, I don’t even know.”

“You are human.

You are messy and imperfect and you make mistakes.

You walk around with question marks in your eyes on days like today, looking for answers in someone else.

But the answers are already inside of you.

Yes, you are messy but there’s a method to your madness and that is a love so large it was never meant to be drawn within the lines.

Yes, you are imperfect but your quirks and cracks are the things that make you so astoundingly, breathtakingly you.

Yes, you make mistakes but my god, there is something spectacular in the way you don’t let it take you down; you get back up every time you fall, and you come back wiser for it.

And if being a strong yet soft human with a hopeful heart isn’t something worth being unapologetic about, then I don’t know what is.”
