Ryan Murphy Just Gave A First Tease Of ‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 And Holy. Shit.

If you’re as big of a fan as I am of FX’s American Horror Story, you’re STOKED every time Ryan Murphy drops a little breadcrumb about the upcoming season.

Unlike Season 6 which was kept a secret until it officially premiered, we do know that this season will focus on the 2016 election. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will reportedly be characters, but will not be the main focus of the show. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be back, and Billy Eichner as well as Scream Queens’ Billie Lourd are confirmed to be involved as well. Other than knowing that the first episode will begin on election night, we aren’t really privy to much else.

Until now.

Ryan Murphy, lord of secrets, dropped this tease on his otherwise v v quiet Instagram.

Why is the pertinent? Well because the Republican party’s mascot is famously an elephant.

This is starting too look very, very Purge-esque to me and honestly, as panicked as I get about the impending state of the world every day, I’m here for it.

Season 7 of American Horror Story will premiere this fall on FX. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
