The New Trailer For ‘It’ Has Finally Been Released And Holy Shit

  • 0

After months and months of waiting, IT is officially here.

Andrés Muschietti’s two part remake of Stephen King’s terrifying novel IT has dropped the first official trailer as of this morning.

Set in the small town of Derry, Maine where the residents are prone to going missing or dying unexpectedly 6 times above the national average, a group of friends begin to uncover who’s (or rather what’s) behind the disappearances. The kids (known as the Losers’ club) vow to take on the monster, and face their biggest fears in the process.

Muschietti (known for writing and directing Mama) has been dropping teasers on social media since last summer, but held off until today to release the first glimpse as to what we have to look forward to come September.

Check out the full trailer for yourself.

Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise looks like its up to the challenge of meeting the high expectations for this reboot. Obviously we don’t want to get our hopes up TOO much for this still unrated reboot of King’s masterpiece, but this seems like it’s full of creepy, creepy promise.

So until September 8th, what are you afraid of? TC mark

Essential Poetry For Enlivened Souls

This is for the women who are first to get naked, howl at the moon and jump into the sea. This is for the women who seek relentless joy; the ones who know how to laugh with their whole souls. The women who speak to strangers because they have no fear in their hearts. This is for the women who drink coffee at midnight and wine in the morning, and dare you to question it. This is for the women who throw down what they love, and don’t waste time following society’s pressures to exist behind a white picket fence. The women who create wildly, unbalanced, ferociously and in a blur at times. This — is for you.

“When Janne has a new poem written, I shut my life down to do nothing but read it, and then when I turn my life back on, everything is better.”
James Altucher
