Zendaya Stars In HBO’s New TV Show ‘Euphoria’ And This Is What It’s About

Zendaya went from a young, lovable, singing sensation on Disney Channel to an empowering acrobat in the circus, to now – a teenage drug addict.

(She’s an actress, okay, she can do that.)

HBO’s new show Euphoria is a dramatic series inspired by an Israeli show with the name name, also about troubled teens full of rage, drama, boldness, and drugs. HBO released a teaser trailer, showing very little of what’s going to happen in this series that is produced by Drake. Yes. Drake.

This show follows the life of Rue (Zendaya) and her friends in high school. We can see that Rue and her friends like to party, have sex, and do drugs. At the end of the teaser, Rue stumbles down an empty and dimly-lit road and mumbles, “This is the feeling I’ve been searching for my entire life.”

What a tease! We want more!

The show hasn’t even been released – nor has the release date been given –  but we already know that this is going to be something intense. There’s a lot to unpack here and we’re definitely going to be feeling something heavy and different when we watch it.
