We all love putting ourselves into the character’s shoes when we’re watching a show. We picture which one we are most like, who our friends would be or maybe fan-girl over a character we find cute. Relating and empathizing with these characters is how we become invested in the show. If you’re a fan of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and have binged all the season like I have, then I’m sure you’ve envisioned yourself as one member of the kooky bunch. Aries (Mar. 21-Apr. 19): Deputy Madeline Wunch
Wunch is a very bold and intense leader who doesn’t back down from a challenge. Needing to be in control of every situation is why she normally comes out on top, except when it comes to her unrequited love for Captain Holt. She may come on a little strong but that’s just her feisty Aries personality coming out, showing that she knows who she is and what she wants.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20): Hitchcock
Not being flexible is one of the Hitchcock’s key character traits in the show. Never wanting to switch up his routine, he is comfortable where he’s at, doing desk duty and going on offbeat adventures with his best friend Scully. He’s loyal though which is why he sticks around the Nine-Nine. Not to mention, he is attached at the hip with Scully, which is not too surprising seeing that Scully is a Pisces!
Gemini (May 21-June 20): Doug Judy
Doug Judy is a complete mystery like most Geminis. His intelligence keeps him just out of reach of being caught by the Nine-Nine. But his witty, amiable personality keeps him around throughout the show, often times buddied up with Jake when he does appear. But due to his unpredictable personality and his desires for a more sporadic and exciting life, he always disappears in the end and retreats to his life of petty crime.
Cancer (June 21-July 22): Charles Boyle
Charles lives to please others. He is emotionally vulnerable and quick to be jealous if he feels that someone is encroaching on his friendship with Jake. Like any Cancer, he’s the best listener and never fails to be there when someone close to him needs comfort or support of any kind.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Jake Peralta
A natural-born leader, Detective Jake Peralta is an outgoing Leo sensation. He craves recognition after a hard days work and never fails to step up to take on the big investigations. While he can be a little over the top sometimes, he has a big heart and is extremely loyal to those he cares about, like the Nine-Nine squad.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Amy Santiago

Gina exudes the personality of a Sagittarius. She is absolutely hilarious, consistently happy, and never fails to be inspired. Sometimes her sarcasm can come off a little sharp but her upbeat personality brings a good energy with her whether she’s behind her desk at the precinct or out becoming a famous YouTuber.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Captain Raymond Holt
The classiest character around, Captain Raymond Holt never fails to win someone over with his ambitious drive and dry-humor.
