A life is a life; these victims deserve to be mourned, to be talked about, to spark change.

To my friends who bravely shared their experiences with mental health, I hear you and I commend you.

I’ve had many experiences with catcalls; almost too many to count –much like a startling number of women.

The past –the times of blatant racism and hurt, is supposed to feel like worlds apart from where we are now.

Vogue is certainly making a name for itself.

I believe that sharing these stories will help everyone understand the gravity that the racial tensions in America have weighed on people of color.

Much like elephants, this beauty line is wise in their ingredient choices, playful with their packaging, and leaves your skin feeling calm and tranquil.

As a biracial woman, growing up it was hard to find my mirrored reflection or family dynamic in the roles of the stars that graced the silver screen.
