It’s always the same. No matter who you are or what you do, we all go through it. Maybe it’s a bad relationship, maybe it’s disappointment or losing a friend.

Maybe it’s making a wrong choice and having to deal with all that comes with it. Maybe it’s something small that builds up or maybe it’s something that rocks your whole world.

Whatever it is, it’s life. And everyone is struggling, fighting a battle that we will never know anything about. And it’s harder than anyone ever tells you.

You fall apart and then somehow, you have to piece yourself back together.

But that’s the thing. The most important lesson to learn is that you have the power to change your situation. It’s not forever. And however many times you fail, you have to keep going.

You have to learn to be your own hero.

You can’t let the world turn you hard and bitter because let me tell you, that doesn’t help anything.

You can’t wait for someone to come to you out of the blue, to be the answer to your prayers, to be the one you’ve been waiting for. Because there’s a good chance that you could be waiting for forever.

Remember that you, above all things, are in charge of the outcome. Sure, it’s going to get messy.

And there’s going to be battles that you lose, no matter how hard you are willing to fight. But the moment that you give up on yourself is the moment that you give into the chaos of it all. You have to try your hardest to stay in control, no matter how easy it would be to let it all come crashing down.

We’re all stronger than we think. When it comes down to it, we are all going to be okay. But you have believe that’s true. No one else is going to do it for you.

Don’t waste another second waiting for someone to be your saving grace. It’s your turn to do the saving. Even if the one you’re saving is yourself. TC mark
