If You Are Coming For Me

By

If you are coming for me
do not come quietly
or slowly
come like a wolf
galloping
paws kicking black earth into the night
howling at the hollow of a yellow moon
as the animals in the forest retreat
for you are the alpha in their sight
come hungrily
come mightily
seize me strongly and sweetly
without leaving space for uncertainty or doubt
be like a hurricane
with my heart in the clenches of your fire of dust
take me in the center of your heart
and spin me until I’m dizzy in love
until death do us part.
