As a nuclear power, and with an economy chugging along at close to $300 billion USD measured in gross domestic product, there is no question that Israel has become a global powerhouse. No reasonable person can claim that Jews are an oppressed minority in any part of the developed world. History has not been kind to the Jewish people and the memory of the Holocaust looms large in our collective memories, prompting many governments around the world to monitor hate speech against Jewish people, lest the horrors of the past revisit us.
Imagine for a moment that men had the same kind of protection. You could replace the word “Jew” with “Muslim” or “Black” or “Native American” or really any group, and it would all look just as hateful. I’ve chosen “Jews” and “gentiles” because of the long history of oppression Jews have faced historically, but feel free to insert any group you like. These things are acceptable to say, because it is acceptable to hate men for no reason other than that they are men. Watch. I’ll show you.

That’s just 20 headlines pulled from various feminist writers. If any other group was written about like this, in such a consistently insulting, demeaning and belittling manner, we would be in an uproar, and rightly so. We protect a group in our society that has historically been repeatedly decimated in an effort to keep that from happening again.
Millions of bodies of men lie in graveyards and battlefields all over the world. Many of those men were sent to their deaths by women leaders, and many, many more by women voters happy to support a government itching for war, since it was never going to be their blood spilled.
And yet we allow feminist writers in the media to spill out their vilification and bigotry and disgust for men over the pages of the internet, day in and day out. If feminists wrote about Jews the way they write about men, we could call it what it is, hate speech.
