7 Celebrities And Characters We’d Love to See On ‘The White Lotus’

Please put these people on the show, Mike White.

As Season 3 of The White Lotus unravels with talents such as Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Carrie Coon, and more impressive performances, we can’t help but cast our own season of the historic Mike White series.

Every season captures a certain darkness that tends to follow wealth and luxury. By combining comedic writing with looming mysterious tension and characters who both defy and fulfill stereotypes of the 1%, The White Lotus inspires viewers to think of our own ideal cast.

It’s easy to think of actors who could be perfect as characters created by Mike White that fit into the world of The White Lotus. But there are also celebrities and fictional characters who we can imagine as guests of the resort, wherever it may be. While fans want actors like Lisa Kudrow and Linda Cardellini to hold the honor of playing a part in the series, we’ve picked a few of our favorite celebrities and characters Mike should write into future seasons.

Jeff Probst (Survivor)

Jeff Probst on Survivor

The long-time host of Survivor, Jeff and Mike are known friends. Mike played Survivor in Season 37, David vs. Goliath, and also advises Jeff from time to time on the game’s development. As far as The White Lotus goes, every season, Mike has given small cameos to former Survivor players, but the man who made Survivor what it is has yet to appear. Jeff appearing as a slightly high-maintenance, but over eager guest at the resort would be hilarious, engaging, and perfect fan service who love both The White Lotus and Survivor.

Moira Rose (Schitt’s Creek)

Moira Rose (Catherine O’Hara) in Schitt’s Creek

Sure, Catherine O’Hara could play an excellent version of any character Mike gives her, but wouldn’t it be fun to see the matriarch of the Rose family enjoying everything the resort has to offer? In fact, let’s just get the entire Rose family in a season before they lose the events of Schitt’s Creek. Annie Murphy’s Alexis Rose along with the Levy father-son duo as a wealthy family soon to lose their wealth would fit perfectly into the world of The White Lotus’s overabundance in light of a looming dramatic irony.

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman in Matilda

One of the most prolific actors of our time, Danny DeVito has transcended generations through dramatic and comedic roles for decades. His marriage to Cheers star Rhea Perlman only makes their legacy more poignant. While their marriage has faced its trials and tribulations, their collaborations on projects like Matilda and The Ratings Game would make it a true treat to see them as themselves as guests at a White Lotus resort. Based on interviews and antics on Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Danny is always open to taking risks and pushing boundaries, so we’d love to see him foiled with Rhea, another comedic force surrounded by wealth and tragedy.

Selina Meyer (Veep)

Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) in Veep

Julia Louis-Dreyfus brings our first female Vice President to life in HBO’s Veep. She’s high maintenance, abrasive, and self-centered — she would fit in perfectly in The White Lotus! After rising to the Presidency and falling from grace, Selina would easily take a trip to a relaxing resort … but hopefully she would bring her trusty staff alongside her. How funny would it be to see Tony Hale’s Gary catering to her every whim and complaining to the manager on her behalf, only for her to get frustrated and do it herself? We need this HBO crossover ASAP.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in Paris and Nicole: The Encore

While The White Lotus spans generations of viewers, its largest demographic is millennials, and we can’t help but remember a time when Paris and Nicole ruled the world. Their various reality series essentially made them the first influencers, but it would be a real treasure to see them today, 20 years later, enjoying their spoils in an ominous resort. They’ve both grown in ways that feel relatable to millennials, with Paris taking a front seat for feminism as an entrepreneur and spokesperson for various causes. But they aren’t perfect, and in some ways, it would still be entertaining to see them get what’s coming to them.

Samantha Jones (Sex and the City)

Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) in Sex and the City

While it would be fun to have the whole girl gang visit a White Lotus resort together, that seems unlikely based on the cast drama from And Just Like That. But even still, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) taking a solo trip to the resort would fit perfectly into her story of an independent philanderer who values sex over love. Unlike some other characters we’ve listed, Samantha isn’t necessarily an uppity nuisance obsessed with status — she would simply enjoy the spoils of the resort … and perhaps the young and attractive staff.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler in Hubie Halloween

While Adam is probably one of the wealthiest actors and producers, he has a reputation as a down-to-earth, generous, and friendly guy. At the 2025 Oscars, he impressed by wearing his comfort clothes: gym shorts and a hoodie. His laid back persona would be a stark contrast to many of the guests of the White Lotus, but his wealth and comedic timing would make him a perfect fit for the setting and script. In an intriguing season, there are always a few characters we can relate to and feel sympathy for, and Adam would be a sort of fish out of water while still belonging in the world of luxury and crime. Plus, his goofball personality would bring a much-needed lightness to a resort typically marred with tragedy.
