Jimmy Kimmel Destroys Obamacare Worship With Info About, Well, Obamacare

While I enjoyed H. Alan Scott’s article on his newfound healthcare (and congratulate him!!!), his article didn’t really speak much to the problems that Obamacare has and will continue to have for the rest of us. Granted, I know there’s no perfect system but I really have a feeling that the next three years are going to be filled with low information people popping up with the refrain “well, I didn’t know it was going to be like this!” Can’t imagine why you didn’t know…

My answer? Well, Democrats…”Liberals”…what did you expect when you pushed your Representatives to adopt a healthcare plan designed by a Conservative thinktank and pimped by none other than Newt Gingrich himself? Sorry, not change I can believe in. Kimmel spells it out cause I couldn’t say it any better or, at least, funnier.

And for those that might be feeling a bit whiny after all that funny and saying to yourself “it’s the best plan we could have gotten!” Just remember, it wasn’t. The Dems had a filibuster proof majority and they CHOSE the Heritage Foundation’s flagship healthcare proposal as their achievement of the decade so they could put money in the pockets of insurance companies and get it back in campaign donations. I would have preferred Switzerland’s privatized system where all insurance companies are required to be non-profits thus removing the investment/profit motive from something as essential as healthcare but what do I know?
