This letter was written by a 4th grade teacher to her students on the first day of class, and placed on each of their desks.
It contains kernels of wisdom that apply to all of us — even if we aren’t in 4th grade anymore!
It’s not often that we are told by people that they “hope” we make mistakes, but that is how we learn. If we are doing everything flawlessly, day in and day out, we probably aren’t trying anything new. We probably aren’t growing.
So here’s to growing, and pushing ourselves to always be the very best we can be!
