Across Europe there has been a particularly fervent debate about banning clothing associated with the Islamic faith. In Nice — the site of a brutal terrorist attack weeks ago — they have banned the burkini — and a poll in Germany suggests that 2/3rds of people are in support of banning the burqa.

But is all this hate toward clothing really warranted? This newspaper clipping, that I found trending on Imgur, poses a very interesting counter-point.
