Apparently while in Iceland, Kim ate at a restaurant that served horse meat on the menu. Her friend Jonathan Cheban actually ordered the horse meat and sampled it, but Kim did not, actually sending out a snapchat indicating her dismay.
Despite this, some fans thought Kim herself had eaten the horsemeat, and were kinda angry. Other fans, however, wondered why it was such a big deal.

Kim, however, insists that she, herself, did not try any of the horse steak while in Iceland:
