The Japanese Translation Of ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer’ Is Hilariously Dark

By

Tis the season for fun Christmas songs, right? And one of the classics is, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” a song about one of Santa’s reindeer who has a bright red nose. Rudolph is initially mocked for his nose, but one night his nose is needed to cut through a dense storm, and he becomes a hero.

While this story is a little dark as is (Rudolph is bullied, afterall) the Japanese translation of it is oh so worse

Seems pretty close to what was summarized before!

Really puts another spin on this famous holiday tune.
