I remember watching The Goonies as an eight-years-old and asking my mom, “Where do the bad guys come from??”

She didn’t have an answer for me, and as I got older I started wondering about video games too. Who were these randos that just hung out in the middle of a room at the end of a dungeon just to fight me??
