Canadian father Daniel Garrett had no problem letting his daughter play with his cell phone while he was in the restroom, but the video footage he found on it afterwards absolutely chilled him to the bone.
He posted the raw footage on YouTube, only to delete it later, but it was saved and re-uploaded by another user:
In the video you can hear the voice singing along with the girl, and also saying “you’re so funny!” Parts of the video also appear to show the sheets on the bed moving, as if someone else were in the bed with Garrett’s daughter.
In his own words, Garrett tells the story like this:
“My 4-year-old daughter came and woke me up at 8 am and I left the room to go to the bathroom and she took a video on my phone with some freaky sh*t on it. She is babbling as children do and when she pauses you hear a male voice sing along with her and the blanket moves near the end, also at the end the male voice says ‘You’re so funny.’
“We live alone its just her and I, I have never had anything like this happen to me. My eyes water and my hair stands up on my arms when I watch this its actually the scariest thing I have ever had happen to me but at least the spirit or what ever seems to be nice.”
Garrett has since high-tailed it out of his house to stay with his mother, fearing for his daughter’s safety.
Some people have expressed their doubt’s about the video’s authenticity:
I guess ghostbusters should check the place out, just to make sure.
