Traumatized Groom Sues Wife For $20,000 After Seeing Her Without Makeup

An Algerian man is suing his new wife for $20,000 in damages after seeing her face without makeup. The husband claimed that he did not even recognize his bride the morning after the wedding after her makeup came off. He initially thought she was a thief who had broken into the house.

According to a court source:

“He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.”

The man is now suing his wife for psychological suffering brought on by her appearance.
