Did you know that the green ogre we’ve all come to know as Shrek was very nearly voiced by Chris Farley? Farley had completed almost all the work for Shrek, but after his death the role was recast to Mike Myers.

After the recasting, Myers wanted to redo some of the animation and plot to make his own unique version of the character — and that is the Shrek we know today!
