Sometimes we all just crave a thrill, which is why amusement parks across America (and the world!) have millions upon millions of guests a year. But these folks might have gotten a little more thrill than they bargained for.
A recently viral video shows two guests boarding the “Catapult” at “Wisconsin Dells” theme park and eagerly awaiting takeoff. Seconds before the ride would launch them into the air at 60 miles per hour, however, something extremely terrifying happened:
The rope snaps. Had it happened even three seconds later, this story could have had an absolutely awful ending.
