California Governor Jerry Brown recently signed a groundbreaking law in California that requires all children to get certain vaccines before attending Californian schools.
“The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases. While it’s true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community,” Governor Brown said after signing the legislation.
To some, however, the science isn’t clear. Ironically though, the science is never unclear to the scientists. It is unclear to the musicians, politicians, and…actors.
Like, say, actor Jim Carrey.
