How The Last Full Moon Of The Year Will Guide Your Path, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

With the end of 2018 just around the corner, it is time for us to say goodbye to the last full moon of the year. Known as the ‘Cold Moon’ or ‘Long Nights Moon’, this month’s full moon is expected to grace the sky with its appearance on the 22nd of December. Coincidence or not, the ‘Cold Moon’ will rise just after Winter Solstice and it will most likely offer us the closure we need in order to move on and put our best foot forward ahead of the New Year.

Despite the cold season in which it’s rising, December’s Cold Moon is full of warm and nurturing energy. This is mostly because it is taking place in the sign of Cancer, its home zodiac sign. Cancer is one of the most sensitive signs of the zodiac and it is highly associated with motherhood. Therefore, the energy cast by the full moon will be comforting and caring.

As with every other full moon, we are provided with an opportunity to purge and clean our spiritual closets. This time however, the full moon is all about self-reflection and retrospective thinking. It is giving us a chance to let go of any regrets or misguided steps we might have acquired during the past year and start fresh ahead of the new lunar cycle. So, we should cherish these last few weeks of the year and take full advantage of the power of letting go.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

All of this astrological shifting of energy will not leave you unharmed. You will go through a wide range of emotions and you will feel obligated to rethink major life choices you’ve made so far. Nevertheless, the full moon will illuminate your path and you will feel inspired to move forward in your career and personal life with lots of confidence.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

‘Adventurous’ is going to be your middle name during this time, Taurus. The Cold Moon will inspire you to explore options and avenues you either weren’t interested in before or you simply didn’t have to courage to delve into. And, who knows, you might even end up entangled in a new romantic connection or two.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

This month’s lunar event will arrive with a bag full of opportunities for you; especially, when it comes to love, luck, and finance. So, be careful and try not to let this energy go to waste. Before the beginning of the New Year and the new lunar cycle, you need to make a conscious decision and let go of your past. This is the only way you’ll thrive by the arrival of the next full moon.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

It might not be your birthday, but it will surely feel like it! Given that this moon is rising in your sign, you will have the upper hand and will be able to reap the majority of its benefits. However, you will not be spared when it comes to feeling a little bit too emotional. Closure might or might not be in the stars for you, but you’ll have plenty of other reasons to celebrate. Stay strong, Cancer!

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Count yourself lucky because this full moon is blessing you with vitality, creativity, and lots of positive energy. This comes as good news considering the fact that there is a strong possibility that you will encounter some obstacles before the year is finished. Still, don’t be afraid of what’s to come. You’ve got this in the bag, Leo!

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

You’ve been preparing your goodbyes for a while now, and the full moon will give you the final push you need in order to move forward. Therefore, some friendships either in the workplace or in your personal life will come to an end. But don’t worry too much because they will make way for new romantic opportunities.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

You’ve been working hard lately and it is starting to show. You need some rest and the ‘Cold Moon’ is fully aware of that. Thus, it is possible to feel drawn towards spending time at home with your family. It might be difficult to do so because of the shifting energy happening around your career. But, keep in mind that you need to recharge before the New Year begins.

Scorpio (October 22 – November 21)

Thanks to this lunar event, you will finally feel ready to express yourself freely and take some long-needed action. Your dreams have been waiting for a while now and it is time to stop with all of the overthinking. You have been blessed with all the resources you need, so what are you waiting for, Scorpio?

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

As soon as the full moon rises on December 22nd you will be forced to make some tough decisions. And, it is highly possible that they will revolve around love and transitioning forward in your life. But, as always, you know exactly what you want to do and there is no way of stopping you once you’ve made up your mind.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

The ‘Cold Moon’ will bring you some well-deserved emotional closure right before the New Year. You will be letting go of people in your life and this isn’t in any way a bad thing. On the contrary, this shift will allow you to nurture yourself and restore your well-being. Do not be sad because endings often lead to prosperous beginnings.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Something is happening in your career. You have been slightly more ambitious lately and soon the rewards will start to appear. Nonetheless, this is the season to take a step back and recharge your batteries. You should be mindful of this, if you wish to fully embrace what is planned for you in the New Year. So, take it easy, Aquarius!

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

It’s your turn to indulge in some fun and creative experiences. So, try your hardest not to be your usual shy-self and go to whatever events people invite you to. Trust the full moon on this, because you won’t regret it and you fully deserve it. With the end of year festivities in full swing, what other time is there to be merry, Pisces? TC mark
