Road Rage, Hawaiian Style! [NSFW]

By

Hawaii—with its heavenly moist climate, luscious pineapples, and tantalizing hula dancers—would seem to be the last place on Earth where anyone should ever be angry.

Someone needs to tell that to Kimberly Ong, who was recently arrested and charged with a felony after throwing a tantrum—with a kid in her car!—at a man who cut her off in traffic.

Ong has a mouth filthier than a syph-infected sailor and a voice that makes nails on a blackboard sound soothing. But even worse than flipping the double bird at her victim and attempting to snatch his cell phone, she continually fat-shamed him. She called him a “fat ass,” “fat boy,” and a “fattie.” As a fat person, I take this personally. I think fat-shaming should be a crime in itself.

By the way, Kimberly, if that is your real name—you’re not exactly a string bean yourself, if you know what I’m saying.

That video really upset me and had me running to watch a video by Don Ho, who is pretty much The Beatles of Hawaii:

There. I feel better. That’s the Hawaii I’d prefer to think about. No road rage, no foul language, no threats, and no fat-shaming. Thank you, Don Ho. And I’m sorry that you were named after a prostitute.
