I am slowly learning that my feelings deserve to be expressed, that my emotions deserve to be felt. I am slowly learning that my thoughts matter.

She wants a relationship that is solid. Concrete. Unbreakable. She doesn’t want to keep you around when she isn’t even sure how you feel half of the time. She doesn’t need uncertainty. She needs commitment. 

Capricorn: Hopper. You don’t give a shit about most people. But when someone comes along that you do give a shit about, you would kill for them.

Your 2017 was not a failure. Your 2017 was a success because you are still alive and breathing, heart beating. You are still here after all of the bullshit that the year brought you. 

Life is too short to waste with someone who doesn’t value me. With someone who only cares about me sometimes. With someone whose version of love differs so drastically from mine. 

You need to start treating yourself with the same amount of love you have been giving everyone else.

Date someone who texts you after hanging out with you to say they had a great time and can’t wait to see you again. 

Your almost relationship was supposed to teach you that almost is not enough. Sometimes is not enough. Halfway is not enough. If someone wants to be with you, then they will put in the effort all of the time. They will commit all of the way. 

If you want a real relationship with someone, never settle for sleeping with them as just friends.

I love you because you know exactly how my mind works. You know how to explain something to me in a way that I will understand when I’m confused. You know the way that I put things together inside of my head.

Virgo: Your planning. It’s good to know where you’re going in life — but sometimes, you have to be flexible. Spontaneous. Adventurous. You have to learn to think on your feet, because not everything can be planned out months in advance. 

Why is there some unbreakable rule that says I should remain loyal to my family members no matter what they do, no matter how horribly they treat me? 

Since you’re an adult, since you aren’t a little kid anymore, no one realizes how much you are going to be impacted by what’s happening. No one realizes that you will still develop trust issues because of the divorce. They don’t realize that your own relationships are going to suffer because of the divorce.
