Well one time I decided to come in to work early at the animal shelter and I was the first one there and I came around the corner and flipped on the light in the hallway. The first thing I see is the big Rotti. It is just standing at the end of the hallway looking almost see thru but not quite. It looked at me for a second or two and then turned to the left. Now at the end it was at to the left is a 10 foot hallway leading to a glass door that only opens in. I ran up there real quick to try to catch it and the dog was no where to be seen. It disappeared. I was on edge til everyone else showed up about two hours later.
In the fall of ’81, I was in kindergarden. My mother and I were at the mall. She turned her back for a second, and I was gone. She started looking for me in the store (Sears I think), while my father bolted to the main mall entrance, at a full out run. He gets there just in time to see some strange woman holding my hand, quickly walking me out of the mall.
My father screams, the woman drops my hand as I cry for my father. She bolts out the doors and into a waiting vehicle that takes off before my dad can see what it was. They called the cops, but I was fine, and there were no mall cameras at that time.
This was in Pennsylvania. Adam Walsh was kidnapped from a Sears later that year.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was when my sister attempted suicide on my first day at my first job. I got off work at 10pm and got the call. The powerlessness was just overwhelming.
