7 YouTube Love Song Covers For Your Hot ‘Date Night In’ With Yourself

I’ve always loved a good cover of a classic song, especially those you can only find by scouring the depths of YouTube. There’s the solo singers, strumming their guitars, with beautiful, big voices but no inflated ego to match. Or there’s the heavenly duo with the voices of angels. Or the unsigned band working their asses off just to give you a soundtrack to your procrastination.
If you are dateless on Valentine’s Day this year, I strongly recommend you go out with all of your single buddies and have some serious drunken fun. But then again, if all of your friends are in love and/or relationships, what better way is there to spend a lonely hour or two than singing along to some of YouTube’s smoochiest and crooniest numbers? There isn’t one. And I’ve done a bit of the work for you, with the following loved-up (or down on love) seven-track playlist. So pull up a solitary chair and hug yourself silly as you listen. Cry, smile, or do both. Because if anything’s full of stomach-turning ups and downs, it’s love. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
