To The Person Feeling The Weight Of The World Today

By

To the you who’s feeling the weight of the world and feels like they’re going to crack under the pressure at any moment,

It’s okay. I hear you.

I know how hard it feels right now in this moment. You feel collapsable. You feel bendable. You feel if one more person asks one more thing of you, you’ll snap.

I get that.

When you find yourself in that moment, tell yourself this if you can’t hear me now: You’re doing the very best that you can. You can’t ask more of yourself than you can give. It’s okay not to have all the right answers right now. You don’t need them.

All the right things in life will find their way to you. You don’t have to go out looking for them. I know you’ve heard it all before, but if it’s meant to be, then darling, it will be. Just give it time.

The world is a scary place to be. I know that, too, and believe me, it’s okay to admit that. So do it. Scream, cry, laugh, and try to enjoy the ride. The times won’t always be good, but I can promise you this: they’ll be worth it.

So, to the you that’s feeling the weight of the world today,

That’s okay.

Do what you have to do to get through the moment, but when you feel better, and trust me, you will, look up and realize just how big and beautiful and wonderful the world really is, and promise me something: don’t ever let the bad days harden you.

You are most beautiful when your eyes glimmer in the sun, when your skin kisses the sky, and when your hair falls without worry of being caught.

You are beautiful soft. Don’t let the hard times take that away from you.

Love,

The girl who’s always here to listen.
