Last week we wrote about the two teenage girls Liberty “Libby” German and Abigail “Abby” Williams who were murdered along the Delphi Historic Trail in Indiana.

The girls had uploaded snapchats that visually captured the last few places they were before being slain in a creek bed. The pictures were tragically used by law enforcement to find the location of their bodies.

However, even after being confronted by their killer, both girls turned out to be resourceful beyond measure.

Audio retrieved from Liberty’s cellphone has actual voice footage of the person authorities suspect ultimately killed the two girls. Police think that Liberty activated the video camera on her phone while it was in her pocket.

In the below clip, you can clearly hear a man ordering the girls to go “down the hill.”

Remarkably, the one photo that police have in connection to the case was also taken by one of the 14-year-olds.

The photo appears to show a man in blue jeans, blue jacket, and brown hood walking along the Monon High Bridge — which is the same place the girls took their final Snapchats:

Police have applauded the bread crumbs that Liberty German left behind in this case. “This young lady is a hero. There’s no doubt,” Sergeant Tony Slocum said.

And Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter promised that their killer would be brought to justice:

Someone knows who this individual is. And if you’re watching, we’ll find you.

There is a $41,000 reward for anybody who has information connected to this case. You can contact the Carroll Country Police Department at (765) 564-2413. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
