Thank You For Being My Forever Person

Dear mi amore,

There’s so much I want to say to you, but I’m not sure where I should begin. Let me just start by saying thatI am so blessed and thankful to have you in my life. I am grateful that God made our love story extra special. Meeting you was fate; it was beautiful, it was miraculous, and it was one of a kind. For others, it may only sound a plain coincidence, but for me, it is something revelatory that makes me sure soulmates and destiny exist. It’s a genuine, firsthand, and pragmatic kind of love. It’s a once in a lifetime experience to find your person, and I’m extremely lucky to have you.

No words can even begin to explain the gratitude I feel for you. You loved me in ways no one else could, and you loved me in ways that showed me how I should love myself. Thank you for everything. Thank you for always being my rock, for being my cheerleader, for making me feel alive, for being afraid to lose me, for always staying by my side. It’s so effortless being with you. And even if you always annoy me, I still want to spend every irritating moment with you. Thank you for the happiness, the way you hold my hand, the way you look at me, the tight hugs, the forehead kisses, for keeping me in your thoughts, for envisioning a future with me, and for all the other little things that you do just to make me happy. I’m thankful that I have someone I can fight for and share the same sentiments I do. You’re my forever person—my soulmate.

I want you to know that if you need someone to talk to or if you need someone to count on and lean on, I’m always going to be here for you. You’re my other half; you’re my home and you’re my future.

There are never enough words to explain and elaborate this colossal and cosmic thing between us. I don’t think I can ever go beyond explaining how it feels, how it shrinks and expands, and how sometimes it threatens to explode. Words are not enough.

Because more than words, you are more than enough.
