I hope you think of me whenever you see my favorite color. I hope you think of how I was always there for you when your friends and family were never able to be found.

I hope you think of me when you’re lonely in the dark.

I hope you think of me as much I think of you. I probably don’t cross your mind anymore, but you sure cross mine every day.

I hope you think of me whenever you go out and remember the days we spent together talking about our future shared life. I hope you think of me when you wake up in the morning and realize that I’m no longer by your side.

Things happen, people leave, things change, it all depends on the ones who fall in love. You grow together or outgrow each other.

I hope you think of me. Well, not hope, because I know one day you will remember who I am. You’ll get the courage to check up on me when I’m no longer there. I tended to stay with you because it was best for you, but not for me.

I was killing myself to help you grow. But eventually I got over it, eventually I got over the fact that I was just an object to you. And yes, now you will think of me when I no longer think of you.
