A Letter To My Classmates As We Approach Graduation

By

We have been counting down the days since the beginning of senior year. This is it my friends, all of our lives are about to change.

Allow me to begin by saying how much I will miss you all. Yes, there are some of you that I can not stand, but there are also those of you that I have grown to love with everything in me. And some of you that I call my closest friends. Either way, I have a special place in my heart for each and every one of you.

We are saying goodbye to some of the people we have spent our whole lives with. Goodbye to living with our parents and eating home cooked meals every night for dinner. Goodbye to homecoming dances and high school basketball games. Goodbye to this chapter of our lives

As we approach graduation and head our separate ways I cannot help but feel a sense of sadness. It seems like just yesterday that we were scared little freshmen, wandering these halls and now we are walking through the same halls wondering where the time has gone. We have spent four years together and that still doesn’t feel like enough.

Although there are going to be so many goodbyes, there are so many adventures to be remembered.

Let’s not forget the countless tests we have completed. Or the nights that we danced our hearts out at high school dances. Let’s not forget the football games that we traveled hours to go to just to cheer on the guys and show our school spirit. And most importantly, let’s not forget some of the best friendships that we have ever made.

As we go our separate ways let us make this the most memorable goodbye of our lives and although these priceless memories and friendships may fade, they will never be forgotten.
