Little did I know that God was saving my heart and me for a man who was worth it. For a man who pursued not only me, but God, a man that never backed down when my demons surfaced, and a man who saw the world and mess that I came from and continued to love me.

For a long time I tried so hard to be the girl that everyone wanted me to be, and the girl that everyone liked, but that isn’t me, nor has it ever been.
