The Ex-FBI Director Is Testifying About Trump Today And We’re Freaking The F*ck Out

By

James Comey, the former FBI Director who was unceremoniously fired by President Trump and found out by watching television coverage, is testifying in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee about his interactions with President Trump. Of special interest to the Senate Intelligence Committee is the question of whether or not President Trump attempted to obstruct justice by asking Former Director Comey to drop the investigation against Michael Flynn.

It’s important to note that obstruction of justice is an impeachable offense so it’s safe to say the country is waiting with bated breath this morning to see what Former Director Comey is going to say to the Senate under oath this morning.

Yesterday, Comey’s official statements to the Senate were released. The statements read at moments alternatively like an episode of Scandal, a romance novel and a spy film.

The enormity of a fired FBI director testifying about his interactions with the President in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee cannot be overstated. This is a BIG F*CKING DEAL. America is at a crossroads as we wait to find out whether the President of the United States attempted to influence the sitting FBI Director.
