‘A Quiet Place’ Might Become The Next Big Horror Franchise

We all know that the entertainment industry and general and the horror genre in particular are obsessed with franchises. Why take a risk with an original idea when you can reboot something tried and true with a built in audience?

At the beginning, A Quiet Place faced slight pressure to brand itself as part of the Cloverfield universe. Now that it’s proven successful in it’s own right, the writers say there could be sequel(s).

Writers Bryan Woods and Scott Beck told Fandango that there are “There are so many things you could do” with the Quiet Place universe.

For me, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt made the movie, along with a really interesting story that felt realistic, scary, and not over the top. If all these things fell into place, I’d be game for round 2. TC mark
