Your Favorite Childhood Horror Books Are Coming Back In 2018

RL Stine was pretty much my entire childhood. I was obsessed with the Goosebumps books along with every other kid in my elementary school. Later, I “graduated” to the Fear Street series, which I’ve been rereading for fun the last few years. The Goosebumps books have been in and out of production since their massive popularity in the 90’s and I’m pleased to share that RL Stine is going to be having a pretty big year.

Jack Black will reprise his role as RL Stine in a sequel to 2015’s Goosebumps movie titled Goosebumps: Slappy’s Revenge. The movie will center around beloved evil dummy Slappy. The movie will hit theaters October 12, 2018 and to promote it, Stine will also be releasing some brand new Goosebumps books.

The books will be a three part series called Goosebumps: SlappyWorld. The first installment is coming soon! Please Do Not Feed the Weirdo comes out Feb. 27 and is already up for pre-order. Escape From Shudder Mansion will follow on June 5 and The Ghost of Slappy on September 25.
