Since mid-March investigators in Phoenix, Arizona have been searching for what they believe is an active serial killer responsible for at least 7 homicides.
According to People, “Police believe all of the shootings were carried out at random. They say the killer’s crime spree began on March 17, when a 16-year-old boy was shot and injured as he walked down a street.”
One of the victims was a 12-year-old girl who was shot and killed along with her mom and a family friend as they sat in their car in front of their home listening to music. Police found that more than 30 bullets hit the car.
Another victim was “in his car in front of a friend’s house when the gunman drove up alongside him, police said, according to ABC 15. After a brief conversation, the suspect opened fire, killing Castro Garcia.”
