Any individual not currently living under a rock has probably heard the expression “boys will be boys.”
You’re in luck, creepy man, because while some women prefer that lovely “butterfly” feeling, I prefer it when men make my skin crawl.
The next time you call a woman a “slut,” bear in mind that there’s really no male equivalent to such a word, at least not one which has a negative connotation. It’s the year 2016, and I think it’s time that women are allowed to engage in sex as casually and freely as they so choose without being labeled something derogatory because of it.
Women make up half the population, and among us there are those who would gladly prioritize the pursuit of a high-powered career over other aspects of our lives. There is nothing odd about that, and such a woman isn’t left with some sort of void to fill, as the film industry so often implies.
A crush on someone you hardly know.
I’d be lying if I said that I have zero fear about returning to a country where any mentally disturbed individual can so easily get his or her hands on a gun.
“I’ve done nothing but love and support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot…”
People love to share their opinions in this regard, sometimes in an unsolicited manner, and you may or may not like what they have to say, but as cliché as it might sound, it’s important to just do what makes you happy and follow your gut.
If you’re unaware of current Congressional happenings, and therefore the speech to which I’m referring in the title of this article, there’s a good chance that you’re one of what is likely a majority of Americans.
RIP 2014 (2014-2014) A new year has started, and with the end of 2014 came a range of emotions among all of us.
