Here’s A Quick, But Totally Interesting, Two-Minute Video About Why Rivers Curve

Can you name the main rivers in the United States? Let’s see…. We have the Mississipi, the Colorado, Rio Grande, Missouri, Columbia, and the Hudson River. Oh, I almost forgot the Yukon. Human civilization depends on these moving bodies of water — just look where Cairo is located, where New York City is located, Kansas City… They’re important. And we should know how rivers work, don’t you think? Do you know why rivers end up bending and curving? (If you took Earth Science, you probably already know.) Watch the video and find out, if you don’t. It’s pretty interesting to see how rivers end up curving and even run into themselves (sometimes). TC mark
