‘Happy Endings’ Is Back On Our Televisions!

Happy Endings: Seasons 1 & 2
Happy Endings: Seasons 1 & 2

I apologize for the very misleading headline. While Happy Endings isn’t coming back the canceled cult favorite is as back as it’s ever going to be. This week the new show Marry Me debuted on NBC. It’s about a couple that keeps messing up their proposals to each other. The premiere was solid and the show definitely has some potential. The real news here though is that it stars Casey Wilson and is created David Caspe, the same man who created Happy Endings. With Marry Me debuting Wilson joins Damon Wayans Jr and Adam Pally as former Endings’ cast members back on TV. Also within the next few months the remaining cast members will all have their own new shows as well. This has to be the best news short of a Happy Endings revival. Not only was Happy Endings a memorable comedy because of its ridiculous amount of jokes per episode, but for having the funniest cast west of Pawnee, Indiana. In honor of this great cast returning to our TV sets here are some highlights from each cast member.

Damon Wayans Jr as Brad the deep tuck loving husband of Jane. Currently starring on New Girl.

Adam Pally as Max the straight dude who loves dudes. Now on The Mindy Project.

Casey Wilson as Penny, the train wreck of dating. Starring on the new NBC show Marry Me.

Eliza Coupe as Jane, the control freak and sister to Alex. New show Benched premieres later this month on USA.

Elisha Cuthbert as the rib loving, racist bird having, not so smart Alex. New show One Big Happy premieres this spring on NBC.

Zachary Knighton as Dave the V neck wearing 1/16th Navajo Indian. Stars on Weird Loners this spring on FOX.

Finally the biggest star from Happy Endings, Hip Hop Santa.
