This Is What It Really Means To Be A Best Friend

Having a best friend is amazing. Someone to pour out your feelings to, someone to trust, someone to laugh with over silly things. They are there for you when you need them the most. When you need someone to pour what’s on your mind to, your best friend would be the first one you call up. The person who is always there for you. Even when they’re asleep or half a world apart, you know you can send them multiple texts and they would reply the moment they see them.

Your best friend is your sunshine on your stormy days. They know what to do and what to say to brighten up your gloomy days. Your best friend is the one who has seen you through all your good and bad days and they will still be there for you when you need them the most. The love between you and your best friend is the most genuine one. The most real and pure.

Many people come and go in life and this would be because of various reasons. You could have gotten into an argument, or one of you is mad but never cared to explain why, or you or both of you would have suddenly drifted apart. Regardless of why it ends between the two of you, it’s important to remember what used to keep you two together: Your love for one another. Pure and genuine. Even if you have drifted, if you need them, their love for you is so strong that they will be there for you the moment you call them or text them. You don’t have to text each other every day or share every detail of your life every day but both of you know when to be there for each other and when to hear each other out.

Your best friend was there for you once, and will always be there for you.

I am writing this to the friends I have grown up with since my younger childhood days, the best friends who have stuck with me for my last eight years through all my storms and sunshine, I will always be there for you, no matter what happens. There are days when I might get too busy to share what’s happening in my life but if you need me to hear you out, I will always be there for you no matter how tough my life gets. You will always be the ray of light in my life. I love you too much to let you go completely. I will always be there for you. TC mark
